Sometimes the greatest creations begin from much simpler interests. Denise Goral, founder and owner of Leave It To Us grew up cooking for her large family. Always of a positive mind she saw a caterer’s work and said “I can do that!” and in 1982 opened Leave It To Us. Over the next two decades she built a company whose growth and reputation are enviable by any standard.
What makes Leave It To Us stand out from other caterers? It starts with the hundreds of creative menu items, all of which are made from scratch. They use the freshest, highest quality ingredients. The talented staff can customize menus ranging from 50 to 2000 guests. Some of their mouthwatering creations are Acapulco Kebobs, Indonesian Chicken Satay and fabulous Beef Tenderloin stuffed with Chorizo, Mushrooms and Spinach, topped with an Achiote Sauce. Adding to the fun are the many “action” foods such as
Mango Quesadillas and Margarita Shrimp which are prepared before your guests.
Leave It To Us caters all over San Antonio and South Texas and also is the exclusive caterer for Spring Hill Event Center, located on 281 North, five miles north of Loop 1604. This stone and stucco facility sits on a hilltop amid 20 acres of rolling Hill Country. The ballroom features walls of windows and atrium doors opening onto a wrap-around verandah with ceiling fans. On the expansive and beautifully landscaped grounds is a lovely two story wooden gazebo. Many couples have exchanged their marriage vows in this most romantic spot. So much is included at Spring Hill that it makes your planning easier…tables, chairs, linen,  centerpieces, cake service and set-up and clean-up. A custom designed buffet presentation is also included, with many, many choices of fabrics and colors, serving pieces, candelabras and other lovely pieces to get the “look” exactly as you wish.
Their “Good Guy” book overflows with letters from happy clients. One client, who planned a wedding from 400 miles away writes…”We have been to many, many weddings over the years. This one will become the standard to which all others are compared.”
So that you have no unwanted surprises Leave It To Us provides a full and complete written estimate from the beginning. It’s easy to feel comfortable and confident with the experienced staff of coordinators who know sources for absolutely everything else you will need for your reception from the best wedding cakes in the city to the nicest Rolls Royce for your departure. To save you money the couple is allowed to provide the alcohol and the staff will cork and serve it. Leftover food will be packaged for you to take or it will be sent to a local shelter…it’s up to you.
When asked what sets her apart from other caterers Goral replied “The quality of food is exceptional. And so is the service. We take care of all the components and try to offer more than others, as part of our package.” The name says it all…Leave It To Us. It’s meant to be taken literally.
