Deciding to contract a wedding consultant to help plan your wedding is an important decision. Youre going to want someone personable, experienced, and ready to make your dreams happen. Meet Tiffany Streett, owner of Tiffany Weddings.
I love weddings. Theyre fascinating to me, says Tiffany. Every wedding is so unique and you meet so many different types of people, she said. Knowing that your consultant loves her job and the dynamics involved in planning a wedding should reassure any bride to be that her wedding will be truly special.
In her first year of business, Tiffany coordinated eight weddings, all of which were a tremendous success for her. When asked for some of the tips to her success, Tiffany offered valuable insight. I never book weddings less than 2 weeks apart. I just dont feel that its fair to the bride & groom. Tiffany devotes the week before a wedding entirely to that bride. Im usually on the phone with her at least once a day. I want her to feel that this is her week. Also, Ive made it a practice not to meet with new clients in the week leading up to one of my weddings. Once Tiffany explains her policy to new clients they are very understanding and they know theyll receive the same special treatment the week before their wedding. Tiffany also prides herself in having something of a family business. For each of her weddings her husband is there by her side to help with the groom and his attendants. My husband is such a help with the men in the wedding party. He is really great about making sure they are taken care of and having them in the appropriate places in a timely manner. Tiffanys mother also provides assistance by being at the reception venue to make sure all of the deliveries are made on time, and to make sure that everything at the reception meets the expectations of the bride and groom when they walk in. Family businesses are important to me, and Ive found that my clients really appreciate that, Tiffany said.
Tiffany is also uniquely qualified in that she is one of the few certified wedding consultants here in San Antonio. Tiffany received extensive training from Wedding Careers Institute. I really feel that continued training and education is vital, she said. What does this mean for the bride and groom? It means that Tiffany has done detailed and in-depth research on vendor services and cost here in San Antonio and can give her clients a true picture of what is available for their wedding. I can sit down with a bride and groom and take notes on what their dream wedding would be and then tell them approximately how much that is going to cost. After that we sit down with their actual budget and go from there to work with their needs. Tiffany realizes that the choices a bride has for her wedding are overwhelming. Ive planned weddings with a wide range of budgets so I know whats out there. I can offer a variety of vendors to choose from. I always give my clients two or three different options so that they can make the best choice for their wedding, she continued.
Tiffanys experience and knowledge give her a competitive edge in a growing market. Her warm personality and willingness to make her brides wedding dreams become reality makes Tiffany Weddings a cut above the rest.
