Catering Manager Michele Longoria has been with the hotel for more than 10 years and knows exactly what it takes to bring together a successful event. She began her career as a banquet server and worked her way up. She has seen the ins and outs of each event she has worked, making her an invaluable asset to the team.
“I’ve been in the hospitality industry for a long time and have had an interest in it since early on,” she says. “I enjoy it. I think it’s important to know every job’s requirements in order to successfully be a manager. That’s why I really focused on mastering each position I’ve been in before even thinking about the next step in my career.”
It is that exact dedication that brings dozens of clients to the Hilton San Antonio North every year.
“From the moment the bride inquires with us, until the day she walks down the aisle, I will be the point of contact. I familiarize our team with whatever is needed for the day and will come to the event to see that it starts off right,” Longoria says.
The facility’s eclectic style features neutral colors and provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Brides and grooms can vow forever by the poolside where guests can take in cool breezes and picturesque landscaping. Inside, two upscale ballrooms feature natural earth tones, tray ceilings with warm amber uplighting and little or no additional décor is necessary.

“We have free transportation to and from the airport every 20 minutes. Our covered parking is free to all guests as well. We offer a complimentary room for the bride and groom, and our event packages are very versatile. We have standard linens and tableware and offer centerpieces that could be a nice setting on its own, or be enhanced,” she says.
