Though Ryan and Gabrielle have known each other since 4th grade, it took their parent’s careful touch to unite the couple. Ryan’s mother asked Gabrielle to accompany Ryan to a work dinner, and the two became inseparable after that night. After a year of dating, Ryan accompanied Gabrielle on a work trip to Dallas and proposed to her in the Bishop Arts District. But the two knew they didn’t want just any wedding.
“Country western is totally my roots,” says Gabrielle. “Even Ryan’s law office is western themed, so it made perfect sense to have a country western themed wedding.”
Fully embracing their theme, Ryan and Gabrielle planned a romantic wedding in a replica of an old western town, complete with saloon, carriage house and a multitude of old-fashioned wagons that have been used as props in films like True Grit.
A professional of the fashion industry, Gabrielle knew how to dress to accent her theme. A stunning sheath dress from Bella Bride Boutique, paired with delicate beading details on her shoulders and loose curls, crafted a timeless and effortless look that fit right in with the wild west.
“It is possible to have a spectacular wedding on a budget,” says Gabrielle. “If you have your family, friends and the people you love the most celebrating with you, that’s all you need.”
