Brianna Bagley & Colby Lowrie
Hometowns: Sweeny & The Woodlands
How did you meet? We met at a local bar and dancehall in Houston right before Christmas. We were each with a group of friends that started hanging out with each other. We immediately had a connection and went on our first date shortly after.
Tell us about the proposal. The morning of the bride's family's annual skeet shoot, Colby woke Brianna up with her favorite breakfast and told Brianna he got her shotgun redone for the shoot. The shotgun was wrapped and taped to the top was a diamond ring. The couple both won the shoot that day.
What was the inspiration behind your theme/design? We wanted a rustic-chic theme by incorporating lace, cowboy boots, and wine barrels into the decorations.
What were some of the unique details from your day? Bride's garter made from mother's wedding dress. Groom's ring was made from his grandfather's wedding ring.
Why did you choose the venue and vendors you did? We chose Hidden Falls because it was rustic and glamorous. It had a gorgeous area for an outdoor ceremony and incorporated everything I wanted and love about Hill Country weddings.
Did anything about your wedding exceed your expectations? Seeing all the flowers and wedding decorations come together was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
What advice do you have for couples planning a San Antonio wedding? Enjoy every minute at the wedding and incorporate meaningful moments or decorations into the big day. It makes the day that much more special.
