A gorgeous reception, delicious dinner and beautiful décor are typically some of the top items on a wedding couple’s wish list. Add the elite Hilton brand, generous packages and a central location, and brides and grooms can have it all at the Hilton San Antonio Airport.
Featuring neutral tones, clean-lined high ceilings and warm lighting, the Hilton Airport ballrooms provide a sophisticated setting for a reception or ceremony. Couples can host their cocktail hour in the expansive ballroom foyer that features floor-to-ceiling windows that display the hotel’s turquoise pool and patio ornamented with tropical palm trees.
“We offer the look and feel of a luxurious downtown venue, but our rental rates and packages are extremely competitive,” Crystal says.
Wedding reception packages include tableware, upgraded linens and napkins, chair covers and sashes, uplighting, customized centerpieces, a dance floor, sweetheart table draping and champagne toast. The couple is lavished with a complimentary junior suite on their wedding night.
“All you need to bring is your cake, music and photographer, if you would like,” Crystal says. “We have the rest covered.”
Couples also receive event coordination expertise.
“I personally give them the venue tour, am present at their menu tasting and oversee their reception through dinner,” Crystal says. “I can also recommend vendors who can supply the fine details of their event.”
When experiencing their complimentary catering tasting, couples are impressed by the savory ingredients and innovative presentation of cuisine created by Hilton Airport Chef Jesse Vasquez.
“I bring mouthwatering Texas flavors to the table,” says Jesse, who has more than 20 years in the culinary industry. “From the Gulf Coast to the Hill Country, the diverse cultures of our state inspire my recipes.”
Corpus Christi red snapper and shrimp, San Antonio-cultivated herbs and edible flowers and wines and spirits from Fredericksburg are just a few of the products that bring regional zest to wedding receptions at the Hilton Airport.
Wherever possible, Jesse infuses locally-produced ingredients into everything from an appetizer of bacon-wrapped tenderloin garnished with micro-greens to an entrée of pan-seared rosemary chicken accompanied with fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus.
“I’m passionate about creating a menu that reflects a couple’s tastes and using fresh, eye-catching ingredients that will amaze their guests,” he says.
Displaying an enticing wall of wine bottles, the hotel’s Asado Seafood & Grill provides an inviting rehearsal dinner space. After the rehearsal, family and friends can enjoy cocktails and late-night bites at the upscale rustic Asado Lounge that showcases handsome marble-topped tables and a sweeping illuminated bar.
Boasting 384 rooms and 11 junior suites, the Hilton Airport offers wedding guests premier accommodations. They can take advantage of the complimentary shuttle that goes to and from the airport as well as destinations within two miles, including North Star Mall.
After the reception, the newlyweds and their loved ones who are staying at the hotel look forward to retreating to their comfortable rooms, Crystal says.
“They don’t have to worry about driving home or getting a ride,” she says. “We provide a wonderful getaway experience without the hassle of traveling far or leaving town. Everyone can truly relax.”
